OPTIONAL SPORTING EVENTS

The sporting events are popular amongst delegates and set the scene for networking opportunities for the days ahead. Activities on offer are at additional cost and subject to minimum and maximum numbers
Golf at Joondalup Golf Resort
Time: Coaches depart PCEC at 6.40am and return at 4.30pm.
Cost: $220 per person includes transfers, lunch, green fees, golf ball and buggy.

Designed by the internationally renowned Robert Trent Jones Jr., the course presents a tough, uncompromising lay-out, featuring great variation in setting and style. One of the most spectacular golf courses in Perth, it sweeps across dense bushland, cuts through steep limestone quarries and skirts picturesque lakes, to present surprises and challenges at almost every turn. One minute you are playing an approach shot beneath a 30-metre limestone cliff, the next you are adapting to the fresh ocean breeze on an undulating links style fairway.
Cycling – Endurance and Social
Time: 12.30pm
Departs from the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre
Cost: $60 per person covering water bottles, marshalling along the route and bicycle hire for social cyclists
With Perth hosting the season opener of the UCI World Cycling international tour and the first of the UWCT Qualifying Events in March we think that you will love what we have in store for you. The UDIA National Congress rides start at the fabulous Swan River and tour though some of Perth’s most scenic areas. The social ride will be approximately one hour, the endurance closer to 2 ½ hrs. Whether you want to cycle at a leisurely or fast pace, we have the experience to suit you. For a bit of free advertising, wear your team or company jersey!
Swan Valley Tour
Time: 9.15am - 4.30pm
Departs Barrack Street Jetty
Cost: $190 per person Includes transfers, lunch and entry fees
Take a leisurely cruise along the Beautiful Swan River to the Swan Valley wine region and experience a unique opportunity to view behind the scenes of a world class winery. Have a shot at blending your own wine, get tips from the experts and sample local gourmet food, wine and beer before returning to your hotel.

The Stockland Welcome Reception will be held at the State Reception Centre, Kings Park. This unique venue was purpose built as the ‘Retreat’ for the 2011 CHOGM Meeting held in Perth. This is your chance to soak up the picturesque setting of the Perth skyline and Swan River whilst enjoying the Best of the West in food, wine and entertainment.

A Night at the Museum
