Steven MannCEO, UDIA National
Steve Mann joined UDIA National as CEO in November 2016, and has also undertaken the role of UDIA NSW CEO.
Steve has been part of the Property Fund Management and Development sector for 27 years working in senior roles with Stockland, Westpac Property, Schroders and Aevum Limited. He has been managing development projects across Australia in a broad range of sectors including office, industrial, retail, residential, retirement living, airport and civic buildings and some major projects include:
- Optus Australian Head Office, Macquarie Park ($400m) NSW site of State Significant 84,000m2 office park development
- Yennora Distribution Centre, NSW site of State Significant roof raising and Port Train development over 100,000m2 ($90m)
- Cardinal Freeman Retirement Village, Ashfield NSW site of State Significant redevelopment for 400 apartments and 130 bed aged care ($200m)
- Western Australia’s first 6 star green rated office building ‘The Hive’ at 2 Victoria Avenue, Perth ($35m)
Most recently Steve has been working in the Public Sector as the Manager Property and Business Development at Wyong Shire Council, where he managed the strategic planning economic and property development teams. One significant project was the negotiation of an Agreement for Lease with Amphibian Aircraft International to develop a $100m aircraft manufacturing facility at Warnervale Airport, where the Albatross sea plane will be developed bringing $500m turnover into the Central Coast region.
